Introduction to Government Contracting/Preparation for Fall Matchmaking

Description:  The class will give an overview of the Defense Logistics Agency’s small business programs.  The DLA, through its eight supply center (Depots) procures, manages, stores and distributes almost every consumable item used by the military including weapons systems support, energy, food, clothing and medical supplies, general and industrial supplies (5.2 million items).  The DLA also manages the DoD eMall and DIBBS system’s two major sites for the Defense Department end user and buyers to locate and purchase products.

All training sessions will be given at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation offices at 315 Iron Horse Way, Suite 101, Providence, RI 02908 from 8:30 am to 11:00 am unless specifically noted below. One-on-one counseling is available by appointment.
