RIMES Rhode Island Manufacturing Extension Service

RIMES is a full service manufacturing consulting firm developed to address the needs of smaller manufacturers in the state, and to help them become more competitive and profitable. RIMES' mission is to "provide RI manufacturers with sustainable, profitable growth," RIMES has prepared over 150 RI manufacturers for ISO certification over the last 7 years utilizing the best trainers in the area. RIMES specializes in leading businesses through the ISO: 2000 conversion process, and has also hosted a number of workshops on the topic, hosted by the ISO consultant who helped develop and write the updated procedures (Lorcan Mooney.) Businesses as small as 5 individuals to as large as 400+ have been prepared by RIMES to become ISO certified.
