March 22, 2010 - RIEDC Board Meeting Agenda
A meeting of the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors will be held at the Rhode Island Economic Development Corporation located at 315 Iron Horse Way, Suite 101, Providence, Rhode Island, on MONDAY, MARCH 22, 2010, beginning at 4:00 p.m., for the following purposes:
- To authorize the recording of the Public Session Minutes of the meeting held on January 25, 2010.
- To approve the Public Session Minutes of the Special Meeting held on March 6, 2010.
- To consider, as may be appropriate, matters covered in the Executive Director's Report.
- For appointment of Treasurer
- For consideration of Renewable Energy Development Fund matters:
A. Summary of program
B. For approval of BIO-DETEK, Incorporated loan - For consideration of a preliminary Economic Development Road Map.
- To consider and act upon such matters as may be considered at a meeting closed to the public pursuant to the Open Meeting Law, specifically matters permitted to be so considered under subsections (1) (personnel matters), (2) (sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation, or work sessions pertaining to collective bargaining or litigation), (5) (acquisition or lease of real property for public purposes or disposition of publicly held property), (6) (location of prospective businesses in Rhode Island), or (7) (investment of public funds) of Rhode Island General Laws, Section 42-46-5(a) (the Open Meeting Law).

In accordance with the General Laws of the State of Rhode Island, 1956 (1977 re-enactment) as amended, a portion of the meeting may be held in Executive Session, in accordance with the Open Meetings Laws, Section 42-46-5 (a) (b).
